Farmstead Creamery Shop Coming Soon to High Lawn Farm
Last summer when we hosted an Open House event here at the farm, we opened up what was in previous years our processing plant (early 1920s - 2015) and turned it into a temporary farm store.
This quaint little building just beneath our clock tower made the perfect starting or ending point for the many guests who attended the event to enjoy a cup of our premium ice cream, an ice cold chocolate milk or to sample some of our artisanal cheeses and ghee.
Our coolers were also filled with our milks, creams and butters all available for sale along with High Lawn hats and canvas tote bags.
The feedback we received during and after the event was so inspiring, that it encouraged us to make this space into more than just a pop-up shop and transform it into a permanent fixture here at our beautiful Berkshires dairy farm.
So now a little over a year later, we’re beyond thrilled to announce that the Farmstead Creamery Shop at High Lawn Farm will be opening soon!
Renovations have been in the works for a few months, backed by about a year of thoughtful design and planning. Our rustic farm store will feature repurposed materials that have been with us for ages, with outdoor seating area’s overlooking our grassy fields and roaming herd of Jersey cattle.
Available at the shop, will be:
Ice cream (cones, cups & pints)
Artisanal Cheeses
Slow-churned, herb-infused Butters & Cultured Ghee
High Lawn Milk’s and Cream’s
Hats, t-shirts, bags
Plus a few other High Lawn goodies and locally-produced products!
Though we still find ourselves in the midst of these uncertain times, we’ve come up with some creative idea’s to bring the community together while still respecting social distancing precautions. We’ll also continue to offer curbside pick-up for those who prefer to order online via our website and grab-and-go their items.
We look forward to welcoming you to come and enjoy the peace and serenity our beloved farm has to offer, all while you check off all of your dairy needs from your grocery list!
